Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! After watching BondiRescue, I'm starting to think I've probably been an accidental serial lifeguard troller because since I could walk, I've been a very comfortable freestyle ocean swimmer.

All the guys are highly professional but I feel like there’s something about Singlets that goes a little bit further, especially dealing with foreign tourists whose English may not be great. He has a naturally reassuring manner.

The first guy left a very good impression on me for some reason. He seems very nice.
This mostly happens to kids, but occurs with any water that aspirates into the lungs. It's more dangerous with freshwater than saltwater.
Eugene the photographer was a hero that day, i dont think the civilians get enough credit on the show in instances like that. if it wasnt for Eugene that man would of been dead, the lifeguard said it himself and they recognize it 10 fold, the show though didnt put enough emphasis on his heroic act that day.
