   Dream sounds legit demented.
   Tommy sounds seriously scared.
   Time for some analysis;

   "THEY HAD TO LOCK ME UP IN AN ENGIRE PRISON BUILT JUST FOR ME "
   By saying this, Dream implies that he commissioned Pandora's Vault with the thought that he'll be the sole prisoner, that combined with his conversation with Punz (I don't have the clip, I'm sorry) where he tells him to be a double agent and – it's implied he tells Punz to – help Tommy take him down, means that we can infer the Final Disc confrontation was staged . It was scripted by the characters of Dream and Punz to land Dream in prison. This means, staying along Dream's line of thinking, Dream probably saw Exile and the Community House and Doomsday and everything else as a means to an end, cementing Tommy, Tubbo and anybody else's views that he was a twisted monster that deserved to be locked up. He wanted to land in Pandora's Vault. Interesting indeed.

   However , Quackity's torture (permitted by Sam) wasn't expected, which means he couldn't mentally prepare. Torture is horrendous. The character really was broken down repeatedly and, eventually, snapped . Dream (not IRL Dream, in the SMP) is actually insane now, which is why he was talking so different compared to before the prison and the torture.

   Dream has actually snapped because the torture wasn't supposed to happen and now his carefully crafted game is in ruins, along with his sanity.

   This SMP is so deep, I fucking love the CCs, they're so clever. I applaud them 👏
