When the mama osprey that had been visiting this family for over 10 years got attacked by a bald eagle, they rushed her to the hospital — but they were so worried about her mate and babies 🙏💙

  1. THIS IS MANS JOB!!! TO TAKE CARE OF INJURED ANIMALS!!!!! WE R THER STEWARDS!!! NOT TO B BRED FOR MONEY!!! NOT 2B PITTED AGAINST EACH OTHER TO FIGHT!!!! OR PROTECT DRUG DEALERS STASH IN THE CRIB!!!! GOD GAVE US THE JOB TO WATCH OVER NOT GET OVER!!!!

  2. The eagles have ben a problem for our osprey forbears. Last year they killed a chick. This year they killed the mom before the chicks were hatched ,effectively killing the unhatched chicks. I know the eagles have babies to feed too but it's hard to watch.

  3. I'm sorry but how could someone be a vet and be so rude to people who love animals? Like…girl this isn't a rapist calling for informations about their victim, it's a sweet family who knows where the bird's whole family is and cares about her. Ok I understand privacy and all but the vet could've asked the rehabilitator if he was with sharing his and mama's informations and considering the outcome I don't think he would have been mad.

  4. Never have I ever been so invested in seeing a bird return to her home! Thank you to everyone involved for getting this magnificent birb back to her family.

  5. What a wonderful story! Thanks for sharing. Though, that vet practice sucked, lol. But the rehabber is a gem, and so is this family!! Next time, take the bird straight to the rehabber? (Also because most vets don't have a clue what to do with birds; most are mammal specialists.)
