The common understanding of Predators is that they are beasts who live to hunt and hunt to live. But only true fans of the franchise know that these master hunters live by a robust code of honor, glory, and justice. To become a worthy Predator, or Yautja as they are known in their own world, it takes a great deal of dedication, perseverance, and of course, strength. And to become a blooded Yautja, it takes more than that. A Yautja becomes an adult and worthy of taking up the title only after they have slain a Xenomorph and marked their head with its acidic blood. The Yautjas honor the title more than the title honors them. Naturally, it is challenging to get the blooded status and even more difficult for a human to get that status. Nonetheless, once upon a time, there lived a woman named Machiko Noguchi, who was bestowed with the blooded status by a Predator leader named Broken Tusk. It was the sheer display of traits like courage that got her the status, but Rome wasn’t built in a day, and similarly, Noguchi’s journey was full of hardships and troubles. Her father committed suicide after being charged with embezzlement when she was young, and after that, she dedicated her entire life to bringing back the glory that her family name had lost. And, trust us when we say that she got a lot more than what she had hoped for. Machiko not only survived a Xenomorph infestation but went on to live alongside Predators, often proving to be better than them in combat tactics and intelligence. By the end of this video, many of you would become fans of her valor and her thrilling story. Just a heads up, we have divided this video into three entries to explore the three major comics she appeared in, which are ‘Aliens vs. Predator’, ‘Aliens vs. Predator: War’, and ‘Aliens vs. Predator: Three World War’. So, without further ado, let’s explore this amazing character whose name itself is an amalgamation of the Japanese terms for True, Thousand, and Child, meaning she is one of her kind among a thousand children.

Just would like to point out you mispronounced Weyland yutani. Your pronunciation was way different from both movies and games of the name. If you go by year, Lex from AVP was the first human predator getting her mark in 2010, centuries before Machiko Nogushi birth.

Sure I'd love to see the official release of her. But remember in the movie where the woman was given the mark on her cheek? I imagine that's there own version of it and I doubt we'll see anything else of it. It's just not a popular enough franchise to go all fanboy on unfortunately

I've read numerous novels with Machiko in them. They were a great read and I'd love to see a live action adaptation of her.
