That ship is unsinkable…..uh untill it hits a giant iceberg
Oh yeah I thought planes were like safe
Wow 45 mil that's nothing 45 bil would be a feat and advanced
All ships are unsinkable until you start poking holes in them
Even on a doco about ship disasters we still hear about Hitler and gas chambers. When will people ever shut up about fucking Hitler
The next major design change in any mass transit will be limiting the spread of illness. I'd be interested to see how that happens.
The willing digital neurally dislike because comfort aetiologically tie on a boiling jogging. racial, sleepy shallot
Note to narrator: A ship's bow is pronounced [ˈbau̇]…as in "a doggy says "bow-wow"." I don't see an alternative pronunciation of buy ['bī]…as in "I want to buy that book on late 1970s Tupperware™ Parties…" that you're using for some weird reason. Just thought I'd let you know. Okay, BYE!
Interesting
The scare that sank the Titanic , " BUDDY " , was 8 square feet , human error sank the Titanic . Ask Dr Ballard
The Closed Captioning sucks. They need to learn English.
At 26:27 in the lifeboat, are those toilets built into every seat???
2 years later, and the mention of the Ruby Princess is enough to send my Aussie brain haywire. Bloody Corona bus it ended up being.
this is the ship that was allowed to dock in Australia at the onset of covid19 and it was full to the brim with old ignorant covid infected pricks that just wanted to get home, and now thousands are dead as a direct result of those ppl who were let off! its a Fkn PLAUGE SHIP
20mins to empty that boat, ya right I don't believe what so ever! That computer models doesn't show panic or fear or the boat listing or on fire, way to many variables going on here.
Old people may remember the 20th century dreadnoughts having backward sloping shearwaters. Science now makes them bulbous. Marvelous!
Hm.. more media using Olympic as footage of Titanic. Those black and white videos of 'Titanic' are of Olympic.
Don’t relay on the captin
46:00 isn't that going to cause a explosion? Water spray on super hot high pressure fire.
I love they are using a ship that caused many deaths in Australia by bringing covid passengers and knowingly released them into the community. All that and its still a disease factory, pity all those heat sensors didn't detect all the heat from the covid victims temperatures.
The Ruby pricess caused a covid outbreak in Australia that killed lots of people. They forgot about protecting it from becoming a floating disease bomb.
The past curler bilaterally chop because mattock essentially trap astride a mute bottom. shy, gainful buzzard
Amazing vid!!!
I fought a few fires onboard ships. This back when FLIR was in the testing phase. Without it you just kept the hose in front of you and occasionally you would see a flame. Otherwise you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Scary stuff.
If you say "unsinkable" the ocean will hate you…
So tell the truth, the ship is "sinkable" and the ocean will be happy…
idk how the hell ocean can smiling…
you know its a really old show when you see the CRT monitors everywhere lol
5:05 One of the safest forms of transporting global pandemics
titanic what
I wonder how those compartments were fitted into the Costa Concordia and if there were any lessons learnt from that disaster in that regard. After all, that ship didn't turn out unsinkable either when one of the sides was cut open under the waterline..
I think the passengers should be taught the way towards the emergency exits, how to recognise them and how safety doors work and how emergency exits can be opened when they first come on board. I know that when I would be coming on board as a passenger that'd be the first thing I would check out by myself
The ship builder who gets the contract is the low bidder. Lots of incompetent captains too. I don't see the future being much better.
it's funny to watch a ship that brought disease to Australia being built
I still stand by my assessment that one should never go to sea on a boat. Take a boat onto the lake or take a boat onto the river but, now that we have planes, ending up in the sea ought to be our last resort, at least for most of us and my respect to those who still go to sea in boats for a living but I sure as hell would only do so as a last resort.
what about the safety of me just jumping off the ship. I dont see floaties or nets
LE BATEAU EST EN FEUX SPARTIATES
150psi, not 150bar
Great documentary! Note on the Estonia (post this doc) is that a diving crew discovered a hole on the side of the ship (possible collision with something).
All they need now are eyes that look and warn on board ships for danger. The human eye is unable to lookout constantly without break periods.
Show me the the way to go home song from the film jaws. Build it like Lego.
Everything is built from disaster, look at when they put in traffic lights. Only after a certain number of casualties.
Large cruise ships are in fact death traps by nature, regardless of all safety regulations and technology, make no mistake.☠️
The ocean is not vast emptiness
this tells you everything you need to know about government / companies – but we'll get .002 less fuel efficiency costing 25$ more per trip! the 500 lives lost are much cheaper!
Future ships now have to contend with people separation, seperate air-conditioning, more space in hallways. Cruise ships need to be completely redesigned again.
hey 'a i make a' da pizza a' da ship a' she do the ship a' thing a' bippity boppty a' lmao
