Ah yes, ghosts. We love them, we hate them, we believe in them, or maybe we don’t. Or… perhaps they’re just supposed to be in fairytales, you know, those of the scary kind. Or maybe, they should be reserved for scary movies only. All in all, though, it doesn’t really matter whether you believe in them or not, because as times have gone by, we as a collective planet of humans have been intrigued by them, fascinated with them, and even terrified or even downright scared of them.

Number 10: At the tenth spot, we’re going to introduce you to the ghost in Indonesia. In fact, this ghost was found on the toll road in West Java, and on this road, there have been an array of reports regarding the supernatural in recent years. Speculation as to why this road is so synonymous with the paranormal have been many, but we’re more interested in showing you exactly what was found in Java one very-spooky evening.
Recorded just after midnight, this unbelievable footage might have you perplexed in more ways than one. Did you get a good look? Let’s roll that again so you can be sure that you saw the unseen, standing right there in the middle of the road, and making the vehicle in front swerve exceptionally quickly. Wow, this one’s a close call to the paranormal. Ghost:1 point, and 10 points to the swerving vehicle, because that took real skill right there.
Number 9: At spot number 9, we’re telling you all about this story which occurred at a high school in sunny California in the United States.
Known as the Sylmar ghost, this story might make all of the unbelievers begin to believe. In fact, it’s quite an interesting one, so let’s tell you more about it now.
Here we have a loving parent (Anna Deanna) who was enjoying a high school football match in Los Angeles. Her amazing daughter (Mariella) was doing a cheerleading routine and she felt happy to record it on her phone.
Watching it back was quite a shock though, as a ghostly figure (now named the Sylmar ghost) can be seen running through the mass of students that busy evening at the high school event. The pace is fast, and it looks as though it’s a young teen sprinting quickly, in fact.
Let’s see that again so you can get a better look. At the time, CBS News were quick to ask whether or not the video footage had been edited, but Anna’s daughter (and Anna) say it’s the real deal. Actually, Mariella said her mother wasn’t technologically savvy enough to know how to edit. And so this makes our ninth spot in the countdown today.

Here we have a private clip uploaded to YouTube by a family who caught this ghost unawares. In fact, the family was quite taken aback after they viewed the footage once it was uploaded.
