Greg Zubiak was looking around a field just outside of Glaslyn, Saskatchewan where he was planning to hunt moose but he noticed something in the distance.
He saw 20 young pups who were deliberately abandoned for the intent of possibly being used as bait to attract coyotes. As he walked up to them, they all looked up and as he yelled out ‘OK, come on!’, they all started running towards him. He gave them the clothes off his back to keep them warm on the way to the shelter.
If this hunter hadn’t rescued these pet puppies in the field that day, they wouldn’t have lasted the night and most likely would have succumbed to the cold weather or eaten by predators. If you love dog rescue stories, you just have to watch this video!
