We got a puppy! And he is ridiculously cute. Today we pick him up from the breeder and we introduce him to the motorhome. Subscribe if you want to see more videos with the puppy- there’s plenty more to come!
Macallan is a 12 week old Working Cocker Spaniel puppy. We saw him advertised when we were travelling in Norway, so we cut our trip short to go pick him up and start his life in our Wandering Bird family! 🙂 Don’t worry- there will be plenty more travel videos coming soon.
Our new puppy is settling in very well and enjoying motorhome life so far! Next step is to introduce him to life on the boat… should be interesting!! 🙂

My advise, Vets are expensive, insured with a good company to meet your needs, look at the small print when you have to claim, the cheapest quote is not nesessary the best ? We now have a Jack Russell over 16 years old, had from a pup, time goes very fast ! When they are over 10 years, insurance companies don't want to know ! Save a separate account to pay for treatments and any unexpected problems ? Enjoy your dog years good for socialising when out dog walking, enjoy your dog in the years ahead. ps, we now have a dog push chair for going for longer dog walks.
Did the breeder say to scruff them when older!? Love the puppy cuddles and your positive encouragement to settle him in.
Aw! We have one just the same but a bitch and minus the white paws! They are adorable and fantastic dogs! Our Willow is 8 now and she's brill! Enjoy him!

Just a word of warning, spaniels are addictive. We have 2 springers & 2 cocker spaniels!!! They are fantastic dogs ?xx
Glad to see he has a harness. My two Borders travel up front. One on the seat with harness and the other on a cushion in the footwell. Mac needs toys, lots of them! And just cover the beds with blankets. How many puddles in the motorhome?

Lovely vid, our Cockapoo Hetty has just turned 1yr and has been motorhoming with us since she was 12weeks. Our MH is the same ( ish) layout as yours, She travels in her crate in between the dinette seats when it’s just MrsD and I, when we have family her crate goes in the U of the lounge. At first so she didn’t chew the inside of the MH she slept in her crate at night, but these days she sleeps under the rear lounge bed . We call it the Hetty cave lol. We have got a seat harness for the dinette but she is only good for short distances with that at the moment. Looking forward to watching him grow into motorhome life. ?
A cocker spaniel… wow do you know how busy you will have to be to keep this little chap entertained? I had a welsh springer spaniel as a child, and it was plenty of exercise twice every day. He didnt like being left home alone when I went to school and parents went to work.
Spaniel's are mad as a box of frogs. But the joy you get in return is lots and lots. Wishing you 15+ years of happiness
You will defo need some throws for them seats especially going into winter wet beach dog and upholstery not a good idea.
Hide the carrier bags in the motor-home door, daisy got hold of one of mine and shredded it all over the house and garden.
