Look beyond the 'aww, so cute' element and ask why is there an elephant in an urban area, clearly starving and being restrained just for tourists? Same for the tiger and young elephant.
Humans shout about their need for freedom, so the same applies to animals.
No doubt I'll be criticized by the 'it's just a bit of fun' brigade.

The Tiger place being shown is just outside Pattaya Thailand. The enclosures were pretty big, lots of shade and pools to swim in. Unfortunately the tiger show doesn't make for comfortable viewing, climbing stuff and jumping is fine but they were making them go up on their 2 back legs for food treats which didn't sit well with me. No poachers or trophy hunters in the zoo's though.
