  4. Poor cats in the rain. I’m happy when they go in the traps not only because at the very least they can get them out of the rain.

  5. The problem with TNR is that it does not really work. To the best of my knowledge, what does work, is turning in a cat to a shelter or rescue group when you can't take care of it anymore, and not feeding stray cats, so as not to draw neighborhood cats to the area to begin with. If you want to let your cat outdoors, build a catio. If you can't afford one – particularly if you have a yard – start a nonprofit that would function as a catio equivalent of a Habitat for Humanity. When animal lovers take responsibility for the animals, it makes a community healthier and safer for the rest of us. Thank you for your understanding.
