?ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. Gather all that trash and burn it it when the winds are blowing towards the city. Trust me, they city will stop doing what their doing. For some reason in the beginning of those video I wasn't convinced that the people from Makoko were dumping all that trash in their own yards.

  2. It's crazy to see how some people live compared to the US and the rest of the world. I just got back from Los Angeles where everyone seem to be driving $100,000 car and the other day I had about 15 to 24 Ferraris all different colors drive by me as I was walking an hour and a half to get to the beach with a 25 lb backpack.

  3. This is literally how Venice was founded over a thousand years ago. Who knows what this will look like in a few centuries.

  4. The government of nigeria has a real opportunity here. Makoko has so much potential in becoming a gem of Nigeria. a true "venice" of africa. they just need to invest some money into this place and clean it up. build up the infrastructure and pay for public education. The people of makoko could get into the tourism business too. people would want to stop by a floating city while they tour Lagos. that's just a potential business these people can have too. not to mention you'd surely want to help these people just based off human decency.

  5. People seem friendly, food seems awesome, but the place is a shit hole. Stop complaining the government isn't helping and start cleaning up your area.

  6. Earth became a toilet by humans. I myself wen i look at my life just eat and make world dirtier others do the same we must reduce the number of humans
