Life is not without risks & comes with no guarantee that we will live to see the next day – no matter what we do. It is said that skydiving is actually safer than driving, so maybe people should stop driving? I'd much rather live my life fully & enjoy it while it lasts and surely the people I love would want me to enjoy my life. Regardless, we all have an expiration date and if I die doing what I love instead of just sitting safely on a couch somewhere, at least it will be on my terms.
What's so special about dying doing something you enjoy? It's just a cliche, because it's actually a selfish way to go, and it shouldn't be associated with love. Firefighters die doing something they love, namely helping others. I respect that.
Skydiving has its place, but this video only shows adrenaline junkies taking stupid risks, killing themselves, and hurting their loved ones in the process. I hope it serves as a learning tool for wannabes.
