  1. That semi literally pulverized that entire van into pieces. The amount of force it takes to obliterate metal like that. My god. Bless that family. I cannot even imagine.

  2. Those American Truckers drive to fast for the size and weight of their rigs. Perhaps the speed limit should drop back a bit for all vehicles using the roads ? They may need to look at the speed ratings the Australian truckers are required too travel at. Australian truckers drive slower and tow more trailers to get the job done.

  3. I wonder if the driver of that semi was one of those idiot middle eastern drivers with their feet hanging out of the truck window or on the dash while driving.. I am also a driver and see this all the time.this shit needs to be stopped!!

  4. Do you believe that this accident was totally preventable? Of course, I don't think our road rules allow you to cross the media and drive into oncoming traffic. Such a silly question?

  5. If only people would move over when not passing. They'd be in the middle lane and likely came out of it better off. But, no one in Florida knows how to drive worth a damn.

  6. Yes sue the heck out of the truck company, I travel on the interstate everyday for work .those big trucks speed rain or shine they don’t pay attention swerve into other lanes I think the bad ones need there license pulled

  7. I’m a Truck Driver of 15 Years and I’m seeing a lot of Newbie & Foreign drivers driving wreckless on top of the Passenger Cars Speeding way past the Posted Limit….WHERE IS LAW ENFORCEMENT?…They need to get out on our Roads crackdown on alot of unsafe driving Doctors need to stop allowing overweight drivers a medical card especially if they have Heart Issues If your Health is not 100% You should not be driving period…..they’ve been issuing Truck Drivers Handicap Placards to park their Truck in a Handicap Spot in a Truckstop WTF?? Our Law Enforcement Needs to Start making the Roads alot Safer than what they are now Crackdown on people using their Cell Phone while driving especially Passenger Cars passing Semis with their phones in their Hands
CDLs are being handed out like Candy anymore & the DOT is way too Lenient on Truck Drivers/Trucks that shouldn’t be out on the Road This Accident was a Tragedy that Should’ve happened
Prayers go out to the Families of the Children lost in this Accident….So Sad that the Roads are getting so unsafe that a Group of Children couldn’t make it to DisneyWorld Safely to See Mickey Mouse

  8. How exactly did the trucking company determine driver suffered “medical emergency which rendered him unconscious”? I mean, looking at it objectively, drivers body was destroyed by fire,so it sounds more like trucking companies legal department issued that statement.

  9. All semi trucks drive too fast and its the State police that needs to start finding these semi's that cause these wrecks and fine them hard

  10. Semis ought to have their own separate roadways from passenger-traffic. Concrete barriers down the middle of high-speed motorways should be mandatory. Guard rails do very little to stop an eighty thousand pound semi at 70mph. Highway safety in America is a joke.
