আসসালামুয়ালাইকুম ওয়ারহমাতুল্লাহ,
আল-হামদু লিল্লাহ। ওয়াস সালাতু ওয়াস সালামু আলা রাসূলিল্লাহ। ওয়াআলা আলিহী ওয়া আসহাবিহী আজমাঈন।
সুপ্রিয় সরল পথের দর্শকবৃন্দ আল্লাহ্ পবিত্র কোরআনে বলেন:–
নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ আমার এবং তোমাদের সকলেরই রব। সুতরাং তারই ইবাদত কর এটাই সরল পথ। [ ১৯:৩৩ ]
ইসলাম হচ্ছে সর্বশেষ আসমানী ধর্ম। কুরআন হচ্ছে- সর্বশেষ আসমানী কিতাব। মুহাম্মদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম হচ্ছেন- সর্বশেষ নবী ও রাসূল। আল্লাহ তাঁকে এ ধর্ম সকল মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছে দেয়ার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
ইসলামের দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়া একটি উত্তম আমল। যেহেতু এই দাওয়াত দানের মাধ্যমে মানুষ সরল পথের দিশা পায়। আল্লাহ্ বলেন :- ঐ ব্যক্তির চেয়ে আর কার কথা উত্তম হতে পারে যে মানুষকে আল্লাহর দিকে ডাকে, নেক আমল করে। আর বলে অবশ্যই আমি মুসলিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।”[সূরা ফুস্সিলাত, আয়াত: ৩৩]
ইসলামের দিকে আহ্বান করা একটি মর্যাদাপূর্ণ মিশন। দাওয়াতের এই মহান দায়িত্ব উম্মতে মুহাম্মদির অন্যতম বৈশিষ্ট্য,

আবু সাঈদ খুদরী (রাঃ) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম হতে বর্ণনা করেন, ‘‘আখেরী যামানায় আমার উম্মাতের ভিতরে মাহদীর আগমণ ঘটবে। তাঁর শাসনকালে আকাশ থেকে প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত হবে, যমিন প্রচুর ফসল উৎপন্ন করবে, তিনি মানুষের মাঝে সমানভাবে প্রচুর সম্পদ বিতরণ করবেন, গৃহপালিত পশুর সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পাবে এবং উম্মাতে মুহাম্মাদীর সম্মান বৃদ্ধি পাবে। তিনি সাত বছর কিংবা আট বছর জীবিত থাকবেন’’।[5]
২) আবু সাঈদ খুদরী (রাঃ) হতে আরও বর্ণিত আছে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ ‘‘আমি তোমাদেরকে মাহদীর আগমণ সম্পর্কে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি। মানুষেরা যখন মতবিরোধে লিপ্ত হবে তখন তিনি প্রেরিত হবেন। পৃথিবী হতে জুলুম-নির্যাতন দূর করে ন্যায়-ইনসাফ দ্বারা তা ভরে দিবেন। আসমান-যমীনের সকল অধিবাসী তার উপর সন্তুষ্ট হবেন। তিনি মানুষের মাঝে সমানভাবে প্রচুর সম্পদ বিতরণ করবেন’’।[6]
৩) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ
الْمَهْدِيُّ مِنِّي أَجْلَى الْجَبْهَةِ أَقْنَى الْأَنْفِ يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا يَمْلِكُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ
‘‘মাহদী আসবেন আমার বংশধর হতে। তাঁর কপাল হবে উজ্জল এবং নাক হবে উঁচু। পৃথিবী হতে যুলুম-নির্যাতন দূর করে দিয়ে ন্যায়-ইনসাফ দ্বারা তা ভরে দিবেন। সাত বছর পর্যন্ত তিনি রাজত্ব করবেন’’।[7]
৪) উম্মে সালামা (রাঃ) বলেনঃ ‘‘আমি রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামকে বলতে শুনেছিঃ মাহদীর আগমণ হবে আমার পরিবারের ফাতেমার বংশধর হতে’’।[8]
৫) জাবের (রাঃ) বলেনঃ রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ ঈসা (আঃ) যখন অবতরণ করবেন তখন মুসলমানদের আমীর তাঁকে বলবেনঃ আসুন! আমাদের নামাযের ইমামতি করুন। ঈসা (আঃ) বলবেনঃ বরং তোমাদের আমীর তোমাদের মধ্যে হতেই। এই উম্মতের সম্মানের কারণেই তিনি এ মন্তব্য করবেন’’।[9]
ইমাম ইবনুল কাইয়্যেম আল-মানারুল মুনীফ গ্রন্থে উক্ত হাদীছটি বর্ণনা করেছেন। যেই আমীরের ইমামতিতে মুসলমানগণ নামায পড়বেন, তিন তাঁর নামও উল্লেখ করেছেন। আর তিনি হলেন মাহদী। এই হাদীছ সম্পর্কে ইবনুল কায়্যেম বলেনঃ হাদীছের সনদ খুব ভাল।[10]
৬) আবু সাঈদ খুদরী (রাঃ) রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম হতে বর্ণনা করেনঃ ‘‘ঈসা ইবনে মারইয়াম যেই ইমামের পিছনে নামায পড়বেন তিনি হবেন আমাদের মধ্যে হতে’’।[11]
৭) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ ‘‘ততদিন দুনিয়া ধ্বংস হবেনা যতদিন না আমার পরিবারের একজন লোক আরবদের বাদশা হবেন। তাঁর নাম হবে আমার নামে এবং তাঁর পিতার নাম হবে আমার পিতার নামের অনুরূপ’’।[12] অর্থাৎ তাঁর নাম হবে মুহাম্মাদ বিন আব্দুল্লাহ।
৮) উম্মে সালামা (রাঃ) বলেনঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ ‘‘কা’বা ঘরের পাশে একজন লোক আশ্রয় নিবে। তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে একদল সৈনিক প্রেরণ করা হবে। সৈন্যরা যখন ‘বায়দা’ নামক স্থানে পৌঁছবে তখন যমিন তাদেরকে গ্রাস করে ফেলবে। উম্মে সালামা বলেনঃ আমি রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামকে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম অপছন্দ সত্ত্বেও যারা তাদের সাথে যাবে তাদের অবস্থা কি হবে? উত্তরে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেনঃ তাকে সহ যমিন ধসে যাবে। তবে কিয়ামতের দিন সে আপন নিয়তের উপরে পুনরুত্থিত হবে’’।[13]
আবু সাঈদ খুদরী (রাঃ) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম হতে বর্ণনা করেন, ‘‘আখেরী যামানায় আমার উম্মাতের ভিতরে মাহদীর আগমণ ঘটবে। তাঁর শাসনকালে আকাশ থেকে প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত হবে, যমিন প্রচুর ফসল উৎপন্ন করবে, তিনি মানুষের মাঝে সমানভাবে প্রচুর সম্পদ বিতরণ করবেন, গৃহপালিত পশুর সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পাবে এবং উম্মাতে মুহাম্মাদীর সম্মান বৃদ্ধি পাবে। তিনি সাত বছর কিংবা আট বছর জীবিত থাকবেন’’।[5]

৩) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ

৫) জাবের (রাঃ) বলেনঃ রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ ঈসা (আঃ) যখন অবতরণ করবেন তখন মুসলমানদের আমীর তাঁকে বলবেনঃ আসুন! আমাদের নামাযের ইমামতি করুন। ঈসা (আঃ) বলবেনঃ বরং তোমাদের আমীর তোমাদের মধ্যে হতেই। এই উম্মতের সম্মানের কারণেই তিনি এ মন্তব্য করবেন’’।[9]
ইমাম ইবনুল কাইয়্যেম আল-মানারুল মুনীফ গ্রন্থে উক্ত হাদীছটি বর্ণনা করেছেন। যেই আমীরের ইমামতিতে মুসলমানগণ নামায পড়বেন, তিন তাঁর নামও উল্লেখ করেছেন। আর তিনি হলেন মাহদী। এই হাদীছ সম্পর্কে ইবনুল কায়্যেম বলেনঃ হাদীছের সনদ খুব ভাল।[10]

৭) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ ‘‘ততদিন দুনিয়া ধ্বংস হবেনা যতদিন না আমার পরিবারের একজন লোক আরবদের বাদশা হবেন। তাঁর নাম হবে আমার নামে এবং তাঁর পিতার নাম হবে আমার পিতার নামের অনুরূপ’’।[12] অর্থাৎ তাঁর নাম হবে মুহাম্মাদ বিন আব্দুল্লাহ।
৮) উম্মে সালামা (রাঃ) বলেনঃ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ ‘‘কা’বা ঘরের পাশে একজন লোক আশ্রয় নিবে। তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে একদল সৈনিক প্রেরণ করা হবে। সৈন্যরা যখন ‘বায়দা’ নামক স্থানে পৌঁছবে তখন যমিন তাদেরকে গ্রাস করে ফেলবে। উম্মে সালামা বলেনঃ আমি রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামকে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম অপছন্দ সত্ত্বেও যারা তাদের সাথে যাবে তাদের অবস্থা কি হবে? উত্তরে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেনঃ তাকে সহ যমিন ধসে যাবে। তবে কিয়ামতের দিন সে আপন নিয়তের উপরে পুনরুত্থিত হবে’’।[13]
