Spread The Viralist

In this video, I talk about the Mormon response to recent world events, and I juxtapose their response to Jehovahs Witnesses response.

  1. Ahhh.. Maybe you should look into what the transmission vectors are.. There is absolutely no reason not to step outside your home and do as you please around your own yard. The issue is public interactions that could potentially be transmission vectors. Being afraid to go outside is beyond absurd. You can also still walk your dog as long as you observe safe distances. Now what does this distance achieve? Well if someone coughs then you are beyond the exposure envelope for the dispersal of atomized bodily fluids. Pretty damn simple.

What does washing our hands achieve? Physical contact and transfer is one of the main transmission vectors for most communicable diseases.. These are factors that should be well understood, otherwise you are basically oblivious to the actual mechanics of the situation.

  2. How could be preaching endangers someone? We'll come on man, it's about christ, about salvation that they themselves risking their own lives because there is much more to be afraid of than this virus,.

  3. Yesterday I had to pick up a prescription from Walgreens (because I will die if I don't have my pills) and there were so many cars on the road and so many kids outside just playing in the lake!

    Bitch
This isn't a fucking vacation! Do what Samuel L Jackson said and stay the fOk at home!

  4. Dude are you stupid? You have to walk your dog. You can't just stop walking your dog ffs! If your gonna lecture people on there behaviour at least get it right.

  5. Being able to go for a walk without coming in contact with others may depend on where you live. I see a few people here and there but there's room to keep the proper distance. I don't think we've been instructed to be quite so strict in most of the US. I can hike in the early-ish morning and not see a single other person. But I also live in an area where there is open desert and hiking in the middle of town.

  6. Apart from dropping off the occasional invitation, they don't engage with me. I rattled a couple of their younger adult members once. They know better than to try to to witness to me.

  7. All my extended family is in the church. The pandemic actually brought one of my uncles back in since his family was doing church from home and so he just started attending again. And then the cult brainwashing sets in again, obviously.

Also, Salt Lake is the least Mormon of the major cities in Utah (Utah resident here). Provo is worse.

  8. I went out for a walk last night and passed no one, I left at 9pm so that has a lot to do with it. But I normally walk late in the evening and don't pass that many people — those that I do we keep more than six feet from each other as we pass.

  9. This won’t hurt the Mormon Corporation at all, all those deceived souls continue to fund the company so you can be a God and get a planet. Wt?

  10. I was thinking about putting out a sign that says "Hail Satan" on my front door. What do you guys think? Would that keep the door-to-door religious types away, or no?

  11. "This is not the first killer virus to come from animals under stress and exploitation. The 1918’s influenza pandemic, which was an unusually deadly pandemic, originated from birds. 500 million people around the world were infected, or about 27% of the world population of between 1.8 and 1.9 billion. Estimates of people who died from the virus are 50-100 million people. It was the first of the two pandemics involving H1N1 influenza virus, with the second being the Swine Flu in 2009. Other highly contagious and deadly viruses that originated from animals are SARS, Bird Flu, and Ebola, to name a few.

Now, it is time we ask ourselves: what is the cost of ignoring this essential aspect of the Covid-19 story? Through our global collective willful ignorance, could we be setting the stage for something even deadlier?

Why are we ignoring the root cause of this pandemic? The real story is the abuse of animals in our food system. This systemic abuse is at the heart of the global debacle that is fast destroying our economy and climate, killing a growing number of people, and forcing millions of others to live in miserable isolation. This is, indeed, mother nature’s revenge. Not our phrase. That’s how an expert in zoonotic diseases described it.

It is time we start talking about the origin of this virus, not just the country it came from… and more importantly, do something about it. Otherwise, Covid-19 is just another name on a list of the ever-growing pandemic viruses we could have prevented. Whose fault is it? All of ours, for ignoring the facts in front of us and allowing it to continue. Together, let’s not just flatten the curve, or find the next vaccine. Let’s solve this existential threat to our humanity." – Why Are We Ignoring the Root Cause of this Pandemic
