  1. I really hope that these newly adopted animals don't end up back in the shelters once the quarantine is over. Unless you know you can continue to give these animals a good home forever don't adopt just foster. You'll still be doing a great thing for these animals and staff at these shelters.

  2. any animal smile is more beautiful and more precious than the smiling of many humans. why? because animals don't fake it. humans do.

  3. This has been a great side effect to the lockdowns going on at the moment. Shelters all over Australia are having pets get adopted or fostered left right and centre! Some shelters have no animals left, which is awesome.
If I had the room and health I would adopt another dog, but I couldn't give them a good enough life and Dad won't let me adopt any more guinea pigs lol.

  4. I adopted my fur baby in December 12th 2016 at 8:45pm! It was cold, with a little snow and he came out of nowhere. He accompanied me the whole way home. Right now, he is out in the world for his nightly walk – but when he is home again, I will embrace him and kiss him until his little paws are warm again. <3

  5. Wonderful pics and stories. Last month my husband's cat Rusty ,who had only ever been an inside cat, ran out the door and now he is gone. We have other cats but he and Rusty were talking buddies.
Thanks for sharing your stories at this crazy time in our world.

  6. let's just hope these people continue to care for them after qurantine too. Not saying it's wrong to rescue these cuties tho 🙂

  7. Please don't forget about the furbabies in the shelters. If you're lonely during this time of isolation, they make great companions, even if you just foster them.
