Playing The Ghost: 9 Ball: The Real Ghost

Spread The Viralist

Hey everybody!!!
Here’s a fun project I’ve had on my mind for quite some time now, and with all that’s going on right now I’ve had plenty of time to finally put it all together.
I’m going to play the “Ghost” in a race to 2 in 9-Ball! Who will win?!?!

  1. A suggestion for future races. Do not cut the video for any reason. Not for racking, lol you could put any break n run you wanted to ,,,in any race. But the ghost thing was cool,,not sure how you did that.

  2. Being on lockdown sucks.i havent played pool in weeks and wish i had a pool table.it would be awesome to be stuck at home for weeks and be able to shoot pool.have fun buddy and keep up the good work

  3. On your first rack, 3 ball, you should play with bottom spin with higher pace (Not screw back). It will drag out and slow down the ball… thus having more control on your white and gain better positioning instead, which you lost control and ran over on your 4-ball.

  4. That was real fun to watch Chris. Tough miss on the 5 ball. Definitely something I will try after this calamity is over. Meanwhile, stay well safeguarding your health. QA

  5. I had a pool table installed JUST before quarantine… Didnt really have space for it so the wife had to say good bye to her lounge! MANY hours of practice going in getting ready for the league to start!!! Thanks for you Vids man! It really helps when watching and practicing, especially your league matches. Keep up the great work and stay safe!!! From South Africa

  6. If you don't mind sharing …. what video software are you using to create the "Ghost Effect"?
GREAT watching you shoot. Wishing real bad now, that I had my own table.

  7. We finally learned a few things about the ghost:

It sometimes gets lucky and flukes in some shots.

    It’s height.

    It shots with a revo.

It laughs like Vincent Price in thriller.

The ghost is actually lil Chris that wears that suit from the movie “The Invisible Man.”

  8. Hahahaha! Fun video dude! I appreciate your videos. They help me out with my game. I especially like when you explain your thought processes while also showing where you hit on the queue ball. Thanks for your uploads.

  9. Hi, Chris – glad to see you are doing well, and thank you for the new video! I really liked the switch to lefty on the five ball when it would have been a big stretch otherwise. I'll start to practice some lefty, too! ps: Love the "real ghost," too – thanks very much for the Monday afternoon work-break grin.

  10. That was fun and creative way to illustrate the Ghost. A question for you: had your Ghost actually missed a shot, such as that round-the-world 8ball, would you have given yourself another opportunity at the table to finish?

Love your videos and your explanations.

  11. Keep up the great work. Please include image of the cueball with tip position. Like you do on the APA videos

Also on 2nd game why did you choose to play the 2 ball in the top corner? Why not bottom corner. Love the videos thanks!

  12. Chris-
    Thanks again for your videos!
    1st game…..
Cue ball went a little longer than you wanted on the 3 ball, but your 4 ball shot was a beautiful leave for the 5 ball! Excellent!
    Stay safe, brother.
I hope to see you on the other side of this mess of uncertainty on our planet. ???

  13. Well it looks like you’re using your time wisely working on your game and video skills. Although I think technically once you lose to the ghost you’re done because after the first miss he gets the break and he never misses so you never get another shot. I hope you stay safe and healthy through this. Thanks for the videos.

  14. LOL. Good video! Really enjoyed it. They say that many times you can see the forest better standing outside of it and in this case I can see a very definite issue with your stroke at times.

I have watched many of your videos and when you miss your stroke is very jabby or punchy. You do not go through the ball well. When you go through the ball well you hit the ball so good. I am not sure if you noticed that.
