I can’t believe we took this sweety from the square of his owners. If we been found it on the street it wouldn’t be in that worse condition. He’s been on a leash, hardly breathing, hair full of living worms and reek of rotting flesh. Thirsty, starving and with atrophied leg muscles. It is hard to say if he’s gonna survive. The outer wounds of his skin are terrible but it’s not the main problem. The worst thing is that he is twelve years old and the lack of cares brought him to that condition. We cut his hair more than one hour. Hair was so thick that it was hard to recognise ears, legs or hair one from the other. I am horrified of his owners. At the moment the dog is under a medical care. We still don’t know for how long it’s gonna stay at the clinic but probably we’re gonna need some financial support. I strongly hope he is gonna get better and if it happen there will be need of home for him.

The owner should be treated the same…and never have pets
Bloody owner was really a devil . What he has done to poor dumb animal . Like this type of people should get really harsh punishment. Because they can't speak so they really take granted but my God is seeing everything, he will punish him for doing such thing to harmless animal. A perfectly fine dog, so horribly neglected by his owners. In my country, this is considered a crime and punishable under the law. God bless you young people for your concern and your caring. Now Sweety can live his senior years without suffering.
I understand that the Romanian people were severley traumatized by the Ottoman Empire, two World Wars, and the soviet Union. My prayer is that they themselves can fully recover in time, in order to be able to show more care, concern, and compassion for their pets.
Again, zero consequences for these animal abusers. Thx for rescuing and caring for him.
