As the Snowpiercer and Parasite fan (both directed by Joon-ho Bong), it a good start for his director career.

The chemical dumping on Han River was actually based on real life consequence in 2000, when the U.S Military admitted into letting Koreans dumping toxic chemicals into their sewer treatment facility that leads into Seoul's Han River. This triggered protests (in this movie, they want to free one person because of no viruses) near the river to stop chemical dumping. The beginning of the movie is based on real life.
I did not like the drama-comedy. IT is weird and distasteful.
I think this is my favorite monster movie of all time! I hadn't seen it since it came out in the theatres. Thank you!
What an odd yet likable movie, music was intersting. Over all I liked it.
Starts out like a fun, retro sort of monster movie and morphs into some legit horror. Me like.

This was very good…. You gotta watch the Suttle messages in the movie! Very good but I was very sad at the end! They were going to bring her or her body home! Very good! 5stars

Well at least the father wasn't alone in the end. And the little boy had a father and home. Sad the little girl died, but it still was a good ending.
I wished the ending could have been different, good movie still.

The little girl survived first attack only to die in the end, what the heck ? Why ? I only watched the movie to see the girl make it but no thay had to let her die, terrible and so sad ☹

The ending is a little drawn out, there were some shots that were too long.
Otherwise excellent movie!
Unlikely heroes.
I first saw this one when it was first released on DVD. A great "creature feature", I loved the monster and the dark comedic elements of this movie. Definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it before or haven't seen it in awhile.
Too much character development and not enough monster. Quality production though.
Guess I'm not a fan of this kind of silly humor. Sorry, but expect many will enjoy.

This was a really good movie. What about the spider that was crawling on her arm could've been poisonous. The boy survived..
