  1. as a Caribbean person I know once the water starts to draws back into the ocean then a weave is coming and tsunami would have a big draw way before those huge waves even start coming. When your on the beach have fun BUT PAY ATTENTION! especially when your a foreigner and you see that locals acting or finding something strange about the situation. A lot of people go to the beach often but don't know anything about the water. very sad hope the families who survived and those who loss loved ones be blessed as they have to deal with the horrors of that day still. the dead have already gone to take rest.

  2. I hope all beaches and places near ocean have signs posted and warnings everywhere that if they ever to see the tides do that again and as fast as they did to let it be a warning sign to get somewhere as high as you can. In top house, hotel, the biggest tree and remain there for quite some time because another wave can come anywhere from minutes to hours away

  3. I saw a video on Oprah when this happend of a aerial view of the ocean and you could legit see the water recede all the way back until you could see the bottom of the ocean I've never seen anything like it in my life I haven't been able to find the video since sadly

  4. Why are they all so stupid !?!? I don’t understand? They all just stood and watched this massive thing roar towards them and just ignored the fact that it wasn’t gonna stop! I don’t understand how you ignore such things!!!!!

  5. are these people fucking stupid or something? You could literally see the white line ages away and they’re like: “How’s the tide gone out so quickly?”
Are you actually serious? haven’t these people ever seen a tsunami?

  6. I’m confused, my uncle was there on holiday and he was running around telling people to get high ground.

Why did no one know from how the tide had gone out so much? it really confuses me
