Soldiers with the Australian Army have been caring for koalas at the Cleland Wildlife Park during their downtime. The soldiers also helped build climbing structures for the marsupials, which were transported from Kangaroo Island, an area devastated by the bushfires.

Are these Koalas interested in some freedom?
It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it! (raises own hand)
this is the best army in the world
???
To the soldier looking lovingly at the koala in his arms – it looks just like you! LOL! Seriously, I have always loved koalas and liked many of the Aussies I met while I visited there. Now I’m in love with all these soldiers. The tourists will be descending on Oz in droves.and helping your economy!
Soldiers are civil servants. This is by far the best way for a soldier to serve their country in their down time, is to serve the country.
Thank you for helping these beautiful Koalas with their recovery?the wildfires were devastating to so many humans and animals?so tragic.
Thank you all for helping these fur babies. ❤️
That is so cute.
There is reason why mother nature started this bush fire.
Is better doing this than killing innocent people
Awww… cutest
cute
WOW THAT'S SO NICE?❤
Yes yes yess!!! Keep it up you guys!!?
At first look I thought the soldier was stabbing the thing in the side of the head with a syringe
Thank you?
Wow Something great besides all this negativity that's been going on in the world and the politics. Thank you.
What else is an Australian soldier got to do?
?
? good on ya
Aww what sweet guys ?
God bless the military❣????
Now isn't that just the most Cutest thing… Gives them a sense of Family.. Ina weird sort of way.
WOW, I wonder if they will be that tender and caring if Koalas has Coronavirus.. ?
I welcome you. which one from America could you indicate some army forums where you can talk with the military from America and indicate the forums where they discuss the war in Syria
If only every aspect of the military were focused on helping all forms of life on this planet.
The worlds' militaries must be repurposed to deal with the effects of climate change.
See! The military can be used for helping instead of killing. God bless these soldiers!
Awesome
Glad these little ones are getting the care they need ?
That is cool
???
Love this so much – Thank you <3<3<3
