WOW!! Checkout this Ship Wreck on the most Stunning Beach in Greece! (Sailing La Vagabonde) Ep. 116

Spread The Viralist

https://shop-lavagabonde.com/ Ship Wreck beach, or Smugglers Cove as it’s referred to, has been a place on my bucket list to visit for many years now. This freightliner, the MV Panagiotis ran aground one stormy day in 1980 on the island of Zakinthos – Greece. There are rumours of the ship smuggling things like cigarettes, alcohol and women. You can only reach this cove by boat, or you can BASE jump down if you’re into that. We cruised right on in on La Vagabonde to drop anchor, swim to shore and explore this INSANE spot. Join us for our first two stops in Greece, the country where it all began 3 years ago!! Videos made by Elayna, additional filming by Daniel, starring captain Riles 🙂

  1. 11:15 – Few things can be traditional where tourists go. But particularly in Cephalonia all towns and villages are new, i.e. de-facto non-traditional, since the island was wrecked by a massive earthquale in the 1950s, hence all building were built after that, in a haste and with non-traditional methods. Unfortunately, that is the tale of post-war Greece everywher even in towns not hurt by earthquakes.

  2. milk is really bad to give in a moment like that…petrol is liipohil…means it likes fat and that way gets easier resorbed in the body…better just have water with some cole…maybe think about having that on board…besides that thumps up for your great channel…its a pleassure to watch in the grey rainy german autumn…

  3. Hey beautiful ones! I have no idea if you read previous comments, however HERE IS A TIP FOR CONSUMING DIESIL (for next time?). IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING, CONSUME A RAW EGG!!! This will likely make you vomit. It's a trick my mom use to do when we would go camping and she was always having to suck on a gasoline hose to fill up! So on the rare occasion that she would accidentally swallow, that is what she did. It also worked for me when I was about 10 and accidentally grabbed a jug of bleach, thinking it was water, and took a drink. My mum gave me that raw egg an I immediately vomited the bleach right out!

Am COMPLETELY LOVING YOUR VIDS and have already told 5 of my friends!! Eventually I'll catch up to real time but for now I am waiting one by one from the very beginning…. <3

  4. Just been binge watching your videos since finding your channel last week! Kefalonia is one of my favourite islands, so nice to see you visiting!

  5. Cephalonia

    kefallonia.gov.gr

Cephalonia or Kefalonia, formerly also known as Kefallinia or Kephallenia, is the largest of the Ionian Islands in western Greece and the 6th larger island in Greece after Crete, Evoia, Lesvos, Rhodes and Chios. It is also a separate regional unit of the Ionian Islands region, and the only municipality of the regional unit. It was also a former Latin Catholic diocese Kefalonia–Zakynthos and short-lived titular see as just Kefalonia.Wikipedia

  6. Very important correction – Derek Zoolander was NOT an ambi-turner (a model who can turn left & right) he had a disability from birth and couldn't turn left. Fortunately he made the most of turning right all his life and became the world's greatest model. I do love the popular culture references you guys make.

  7. My wife and I just returned from a sailing holiday there in The Ionians on the same boat that was your first Lavagabonde! We had the trip of a lifetime. Love your tales and adventures! Cheers guys!

  8. Why did that tender from that big yacht cone at you like that? You didnt address it. Were they pissed you flew the drone over their ship? cause its obvious the way their tender approched la vagabonde that there was a problem…what was it??

  9. I do my best to understand the perspectives of other people.  That said, how is it that anyone "dislikes" these videos?  Riley, Elayna (sorry, Riley, but especially Elayna), the underwater shots, the locations, the drone footage, and the sailing information, ….  Every video deserves a "like"!

  10. So much enjoyed this video, I wonder how anyone can not like your adventures…? For me absolutely the nicest people on you tube!!
Hope you have an awesome wedding but mostly a beautiful marriage! ❤️

  11. Most likely is the water impeller that keeps the engine cool along with the water pump. You need to keep at least 2 of each one of those parts in your boat along with plenty of filters for your water maker with the tools needed to replace each one of these parts.
Mouth siphoning diesel fuel, it is the biggest NO, NO, I am an 18 wheel driver who also work in diesel 18 wheeler diesel engines , I would not touch it with my bare hands, let it alone with my mouth. Besides diesel being very toxic, it is a major cancer producer.
When in the USA go to a Harbor freight store, they have portable 3 pounds size battery operated fuel pumps able to pump 10 gallons per minute. (125.00 USA dollars )
They probably sale the 3/4 of an inch rober hoses and the 1 inch gear clamps.

  12. Riley I was looking at the green color code of your boat engines, that Diesel Volvo engine is one of the most reliable engines for any application, 18 wheelers and boats.
