In the days after the ASPCA rescued Tyra from a Kentucky puppy mill, she was afraid of everything. When our behavior team touched the tiny Papillon during an evaluation, she shut down, paralyzed with fear. One glimpse of a child-size doll sent her reeling in terror. She was even too scared to eat.
After a few months of treatment, the behavior team evaluated Tyra again. The results were thrilling, and we caught it on tape.

It takes hard work to get these dog to trust you I know I have a little dog from one of those horrible places I had to teach her to go out side and wee and sit what a bed was a coat was food love it takes a long time but OK in the end

The ASPCA is a rip off they would not help me w my dog accidently ate a silicone packet until I paid them $60. On line to tell me what I could do to save him. I would not give them 1 red cent to their call for help in the pitiful commercials they air. Total rip-off
Puppy mills should be illegal!!!
California passed a law that pet stores must sell pets from rescue organizations, not from puppy mills. That law needs to be national.

Because randy skaggs and the trixie foundation are in KY and you KNOW it is going to be hard, and expensive, and difficult, you are going to refuse to help. I know for a fact you know because I have contacted you for 15 years. I put pics and negatives in Kyle's hands when your disaster team was here in KY for the blevins mill bust right before the West Liberty tornado. I was promised help then. Here we are, got him charged, needed some help, and you are nowhere to be found.
We got a handful of critical ones out but we needed big help to get them all. ASPCA was more than willing, like several other big orgs, to simply leave these animals in hell…because it's hard and expensive.
We NEED donations. I think these words say it best about what was found on that property on Tuesday…

And that is nothing compared to what is still going on and has gone on for 28 years in that Gulag of Despair.

ASPCA wouldn't help but a little Ohio rescue is helping with that tiny handful we got out of there…. We need more help. There are over 200 animals in dire need still. You could have done SOMETHING to help. Post about it. Talk about it. Make some phone calls. Help spread our petition. You COULD have done something. You have the money to help. Where are YOU????

I'm curious. I am a profound animal lover and vicious defender. I have always had a soft heart for any animal in need and do something about it. Now, your commercials, you say you need 60 cents a day. For an average American this is change. How much of that 60 cents actually funds the animal and it's needs and not collected by you the advertising agency? .02 cents? Is it possible to cut you out and directly help the actual group doing the work?

If you truly care about horses, then you’ll go sign these petitions against the ‘King Amendment’ to the upcoming ‘Farm Bill’. This would further those industries that are pushing to legalize and popularize horse slaughter for consumption, as well as overturn on a federal level many laws passed by various states that have made leaps and bounds in the cause against animal cruelty, affecting things like the standards that breeders and puppy mills are supposed to be upheld to, the treatment of egg laying hens, and many others. (Also keep in mind, these industries buy pre-owned horses, young and old, healthy and sick, but many of them Vetted, and so are no longer safe for human consumption due to chemicals used in horse vaccines.)

a puppy mill is where they raise dogs in cruel conditions that have no water, food, dangerous things for dogs everywhere and no love.
If they had brought in Eldad Hagar, the dog would have been a happy little sausage within a few days.
