I might just be a preteen, but I want to help all these animals. I don’t know much about the humane society, but what they do makes my heart smile for these animals. I wish all these animals were given a better life. No animals deserves to live like this.

While is great you folks are taking action into rescuing animals from these conditions.
My question is this… if these animals aren't able to find a home after 72 hours why does your guidelines state to " humanely euthanasia " them.
Your policies give them a very short brief time of hope . Due to the amount of animals coming in, there is limited space. It leaves your shelters to decide to end their lives.
This is contradictory to what you are trying to share with the world.
My two friends worked at one of your shelters in Hawaii in the past and would see daily piles of animals euthanized and cremated. They could not work there long because of what you do. It literally affected them for a long time. They ended up fostering a lot of animals through the years.
I too am reminded when I passed by your shelter the smoke coming out, it only reminds me of the holocaust. I pray you folks will share the truth with others and not mislead them that your organization is a positive one.
