I have been reviewing clear cases for a while now. Personally speaking, I don’t find them tough as other cases. The fingerprinting is also an issue for me. But if you can get past that, here’s my recommendation for the best Clear Case for the iPhone XR and iPhone XS.

The RhinoShield MOD NX isnʼt as grippy as a Moshi Talos or Speck Grip case but RhinoShield added enough texture to the NX versions that weʼre not too worried about having our iPhone slip out of our hand constantly.
The standout feature of RhinoShield MOD NX is the fact that it offers a unique level of customization. RhinoShield allows you to customize the buttons on the case to whatever you want.
When it comes to iPhone access, the buttons on the case are the best we have ever used.
However, the biggest downside when it comes to the MOD NX is the fact that it feels thicker than the average case.

The handling of Catalyst Impact Protection is quite nice, especially on the iPhone XR as the thinner design removes some of the awkwardness of the iPhone XRʼs thickness. The clear back does have a series of relatively unnoticeable dots on the back that help with rainbowing.
If youʼre particularly clumsy, you can add the included wrist-strap to provide even more safety for your device.
The last thing weʼll touch on is the buttons. Despite looking like they would be terrible to use, Catalyst has done a great job.

Weʼve been using Casetify cases since the release of the 2018 iPhones and weʼve been surprised by them. The one thing that keeps us from loving this case, is the branding on the case. That black ring actually serves a purpose as according to Apple accessories guidelines, as a dark-colored, matte ring ensures that the flash doesnʼt spill back into the camera. But Casetify made it too obvious.
But if youʼre looking to add a little more style or uniqueness to your device, Casetify offers a plethora of different designs to choose from. And the different designs look great on a colorful iPhone XR.

The Ghostek Atomic Slim has an aluminum bumper that comes in a variety of colors so itʼs a pretty great case to accessories the colorful iPhone XR with.
Otterbox Symmetry Clear, on the hand,has great buttons. They float in a similar manner as the RhinoShield MOD NX which makes this one of the best handling iPhone cases when it comes to buttons.

Hi Aaron question please.. I bought the new otter box symmetry clear for iPhone 11 and packaging claims to have anti helloing materials – is this true? In other words will this clear case remain the same or near close to original look and not turn yellow over time?
Deciding between mod nx and catalyst, you mentioned once that the catalyst stains over time once in another video which is something nobody ever mentions about it or on any other case. It sounds like they're using a material that has a tendency to absorb stains, hows yours holding up after all this time? Is this more or less pronounced on other rubbery cases you've tried? I hate owning pens with rubber grips that do the same thing and go gray even though they're perfectly clean.

I bought the Mous Clarity. Great case but not the best for one handed use. Sides are awesome. The clear back is still slick. So going with another of your recommendations, Loopy Case.

Hey Aaron, based on your recommendation from a previous video, I got the Mous Limitless case (bamboo) for my iPhone XS a few months ago. It looks amazing and really protects against drops, but the back of the case gets extremely scratched up and dented. Do you have the same issue? Also phone gestures, especially swiping to switch apps isn't very comfortable because of the raised edges.
I really want a clear case now, would you still recommend the Mous Clarity?
