A witness in three PetSmart stores saw sick or injured animals denied badly needed veterinary care. The billion-dollar company also left sick animals alone during holidays and a hurricane and bought animals from a supplier once busted for cruelty.

I’m glad the pet store I go to is actually good ((I’ve worked there)) they keep sick animals in their own space and take them to the vet. They also breed their own animals so it’s not like their getting them from terrible places.

Jeez, I’m not vegan or anything but that table smash was honestly the worst thing I’ve seen this week. Seems like they could fix a lot of this including business losses by having company vets that are cheaper as they are jupart of budget

These pet stores have been busted over and over again!!! WHY ARE PPL STILL GOING THERE! GO TO SHELTERS. THE MOST LOVING BABYS WAITING FOR FAMILYS!!
My local pet store had a large chubby guinea pig trapped in such a teeny tiny small cage along with about 7 others. He had an eye infection and also could not reach the water due to his size. Me and my family rescued him and he now has a loving home. Seeing this happen to an animal, especially guinea pigs – as I have a few- is disgusting.
I have 2 hamsters that are perfectly fine, they are Very lucky to be with me, the cage they are in has been cleaned every month, I don’t buy food from them anymore bec it’s killed my last hamster that was so sweet 🙁
It’s kinda hard to adopt a guinea pig from somewhere that ISNT petsmart because that’s all you have around you.
We need to sue PetSmart that is animal cruelty

I got a hamster from them and he was terrified of humans because when he got there he was thrown around and he actually tried to escape when we tried to bring him home he ended up dying because he was so scared of me he wouldn’t allow me in his cage to feed him

If you want to get your dog groomed it’s one thing but if you want to get a pet there that’s another thing because my mother grooms dogs their and she has nothing or knows nothing about how the animals are taken care of so it’s your choice to buy a pet from their but pet smart treats dogs getting groomed fine and they do all they can to keep the dog or cat comfortable.

Sometimes I feel like humans feel special like they are above animals but we are not . We were all born on this earth no matter how big,small different we are.We have all the same value like any other breathing thing on earth.
