"Firenado" Australia in HD- at actual speed. Straya mate.

Spread The Viralist

A video with a number of world “firsts”. First fire tornado ever recorded with a broadcast television camera, first ever recorded in HD, first ever to isolate just the sound of a fire whirl in the wild and the first one recorded on a tripod. It remains the only fire whirl vision with those combined elements. Captured by chance by TV cameraman Chris Tangey on September 11 at Curtin Springs cattle station, Northern Territory, Australia. © Chris Tangey

  1. I live in Sydney & bought an Aldi air-fryer last week… I better read the instructions. P.S. Brilliant filming Chris + the sound is awesome. A Big thumbs up mate.

  2. All the people who think this is cool, stop to think about the damage fires like this have on the habitats of various species. Koala's are nearing extinction quite literally because of fires in Australia.

  3. In Canada we had a 'Firenado' about 20 years ago that was so powerful, it picked up a truck and threw it 50 meters through the air, and then sucked the driver out the window, and pulled him into the fire to his death. A horrible tragedy, but it shows the potential strength of a Firenado.
