  1. The reboot movies are not a patch on the originals. Too much forced diversity, too much pandering to children. The originals were sinister and dark in many parts. It's such a shame they took the prequels in the direction they did.

  2. Imagine the ship is about to land awkwardly and all scratched up and all you hear is this from inside it and your the emperor in the Death Star hearing what is going on in Vader’s ship:

Vader: “Now be careful when you land that I just got it waxed…no no no not to the left you idiots!”
After landing the hatch opens and you hear Italian opera music playing as Vader struggles to turn the vehicle off with a car key chain.

Vader: “son of a bitch! Turn off already…uhh mr emperor hold on just a second.”
Makes to the ramp of ship and is about to walk off when…he pushes the wrong button and the ramp closes up on him.

    Vader: “Finland!”

  3. All the comments about an impressive arrival. Look at the detail, also bear in mind Jerjerrod‘s deleted scenes from later in the movie. Also consider the welcome the Emperor received when he arrived:

Jerjerrod does not respect Vader, just like some of the Imperial officers in ep4 (Sorcerers ways) but he is clever enough to keep his contempt quiet at this point.
Vader’s shuttle arrived in a tiny docking port with a Tie Bomber in the corner and a few token Stormtroopers.
As seen in a deleted scene Jerjerrod cares about his troops and staff (Jerjerrod’s dilemma) hence they haven’t been working flat out.
Jerjerrod knows that Vader is dangerous, he is a well realised character, not just the usual faceless Imperial cannon fodder. His character shines through in this and his deleted scenes, especially the Vader confrontation scene, the moment he was waiting for. The dilemma scene is certainly one of the most realistic in any of the movies, actually finding someone who doesn’t just follow orders unquestionably he is a unique figure within the Empire and it’s such a shame that his other scenes have been cut.

  4. But Lord Vader, if we were building a Death Star the same size as the first one we could have had it finished already. I mean, it could already destroy a damn planet, does it really need to be even bigger this time? Exactly how small is the Emperor's shrivelled up little… *chokes
