3. Buildings are supposed to sway during earthquakes and bad storms to keep them from being destroyed

8. It's actually a good thing that the building is swaying. The engineer designed it to sway to absorb the shock from the earthquake. If it stood stationary it would just start falling to pieces and splitting.
