California Bans Sale of Non-Rescue Animals in Pet Shops | Naturee Stories

Pet shops in the state of California can now only sell rescued pets. Cats, dogs and rabbits cannot be sourced from breeders but must come from rescue shelters and groups. The new law was voted in 2017 and took effect at the beginning of 2019.
