Police dash cam video #1 – Maquoketa, Iowa, US, April 1, 2014 – A Maquoketa police officer involved in a police shooting incident with a suspect who later took his own life has been cleared. The Jackson County Attorney’s Office has determined Sgt. Brendan Zeimet’s actions during a gunfight with 30-year-old Aaron Scott were “justified and reasonable.” Zeimet was checking on a truck parked on the wrong side of the street in the 200 block of West Grove Street in the early morning hours of April 1st when the police shooting took place. Police dash cam video #2 – Livonia, Michigan, US, April 10, 2016 – Livonia police shot a 23-year-old man early Sunday after authorities say he pointed a long gun at officers during a traffic stop. The police shooting happened after the department received a 911 call around 2 a.m. Sunday about a suspected drunk driver in a white Ford Explorer driving erratically, almost striking another vehicle and swerving severely in and out of traffic. A Livonia officer located the vehicle in the area of Interstate 96 and Farmington Road and confirmed the motorist was driving erratically and may be intoxicated. Police dash cam video #3 – Wyoming, Michigan, US, January 29, 2015 – A Wyoming police officer has returned home after being treated for a gunshot wound, and the suspect has been taken into custody. The police shooting happened Thursday afternoon in the area of Himes Street SE and Jefferson Ave. SE. Police were called to a home in the area for a report of a domestic dispute. Police dash cam video #4 – Orlando, Florida, US, January 29, 2016 – The State Attorney’s Office released cruiser dash cam video of the Orlando police shooting in the Milk District from earlier this year. The suspect, Danielle Evans, who turned 35 on Tuesday, is accused of driving a stolen car at officers. The video shows police chase to Evans’ vehicle after she fled from a traffic stop around noon Jan. 29. She turned into a parking lot near South Street and South Bumby Avenue, police said. Police dash cam video #5 (NO AUDIO) – Ocala, Florida, US, July 6, 2012 – A civil jury has awarded $2.25 million to the family of Joshua Salvato in the wrongful death case against the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Salvato was 21-years-old when he was shot and killed by Deputies Lauren Miley and Norman Brown on July 6, 2012. Deputies had responded to the area of Sunset Harbor Road, Summerfield, Florida in response to a complaint about a man on the side of the road being loud and causing a disturbance. He was unaware that the passenger in the vehicle was Jamel Dean. Dean at that time was wanted for committing several armed robberies of drug dealers in Sioux City. Police dash cam video #7 – LaGrange, Georgia, US, June 29, 2015 – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into a police shooting involving a Troup County deputy early Monday morning that was all caught on camera. Around 12:05 a.m., the Troup County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen who reported their neighbor was police shooting a gun. Deputy Stephen D’Angelo responded to the 3000 block of Hamilton Road in LaGrange where he located Terry Caldwell, 60, sitting in his carport. Man, that first officer was so damn lucky. He walks up to the truck with no hesitation and not looking like he expected the man to have a gun…the asshole suspect walks around the door carrying a fucking AR and could have easily shot and killed that officer. But instead, he just reveals the gun and doesn't even point it at the officer until the officer takes his first shots. Thank God thats how it happened
