This time of year is by far the most popular time for people to give back or think about giving back to charities and causes that speak to their hearts, and for us one of those organizations is Dog Gone Seattle (DGS).
We love dogs as much as we love boating, and we especially love to support animal rescues that work tirelessly to rescue animals who have been left behind and forgotten about for various reason. DGS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue that travels to high-kill shelters in CA, TX and several other states where precious lives are at stake. They transport homeless dogs to loving foster homes in Seattle to get the care and love they need before going to their forever homes.
We rescued Mr. Sully from Dog Gone in August of 2017 and believe he actually rescued us. This organization is doing wonderful things, and we are excited to be donating 100% of profits made from purchases on our website from 11.28.19 – 12.31.19 to Dog Gone Seattle. AND…better yet we’re going to personally match whatever profits are donated to double the love this holiday season. All of these funds go directly to helping the dogs as DGS is a foster-based rescue supported only by adoption fees, donations and volunteers such as foster families.
