  1. Hi there, great footage. Unfortunately I can't hear the name of the app used in the beginning of the video, what I recall hearing isn't on the app store. Can you please write it down. Would really appreciate it.
    ☺️

  2. Hello Moment, awesome and useful video! So why you guys recommend "flat" instead of "Log v2"? I thought if we apply a Lut when when we used "Log V2", we have video looks better. What do you guys think? Thank you

  3. Hey Nice Video! Question, I have been dealing wth the new Hevc codec that the iphone is shooting at now. Specially the 4K hi bitrate footage. It is a PAINNNN to deal with on my PC. I do have a mac book pro available as well, but have had the same difficulties. Basically I am not choosing to save Hevc, its just what is coming in. QT seems to not be compatible with it, and thus premiere an dAfter Effects are not reading it. Im left to have to convert it which has also been a pain in the A$$. Any Pro Tips to deal with this new HEVC HEADACHE. Many thanks!

  4. Hi, may ask a clarification? You say that flat mode is way better to get cinematic look. What happens when you shoot with slow motion editing in your mind and you need to set Filmic Pro to 1080/120 where you can’t access the flat mode settings? Any advice on how to deal with two different settings footages in post pro ?

  5. Also , below are the top 3 resolution choises on my phone a, top most : higest 4096×2160(256:135 8.85mp)….and second in the row is higest 3840×2160(16:9, 8.29mp)….the third in the row is , higest full hd 1920×1080(16:9 , 2.07mp)…..out of these which one I select with 25fps and which one for slowmo , say with a 60 or 120 fps …..thanks for the video again….

  6. Thnx for sharing your settings…I use open camera, phone does not support filmic pro…nor does API 3…so, no flat, lug n all that stuff ….no manual iso too…rest all of it is there…anyway, before you switch to slowmo, why do you change the resolution?? Do you come to 1080 from 4k, why would you lower the resolution, before you change your frame rate to 60 or 120…and what would you choose in between 60 n 120…is that dependant on action speed of the shot…

  7. Make a L G V40 case, that way you could just use the internal app for control over every aspect of your footage without having to buy a 3rd party app.

  8. Except there's so many phones that don't fully support Camera2 API. So FilmicPro is severely limited in a lot of cases. I think the only phone that has full support, is the Pixel2. If someone can correct me. Then great!

  9. DO NOT UPGRADE TO IOS CATALINA!!!!!!!!

sent to me from " Filmic Pro" We're currently working to update our tutorial materials to account for the new version of MacOS that dropped this week, but will definitely be doing so. As it seems you've discovered the way to manage your iPhone files is now handled through the Finder. Apple has removed iTunes File Sharing and implemented in the Finder the ability to view your iPhone's storage and copy files directly. However, there is a significant bug in the new OS that prevents you from transferring more than one file at a time. This has been frustrating to many of our users who have upgraded to Catalina, and we're hopeful that Apple will issue an update to resolve this bug soon.

In the meantime the only real solution to avoid this is to revert back to a prior version of the OS if that's an option for you! I'm sorry there isn't more that I can do, but you may wish to open a ticket with Apple about this so they know how frustrating it is, and do let me know if you have any other questions or issues!
