   Would the Kurds, who are now enjoying Syrian gov support, really attack the civilian population just because the area is controlled by Turkey?
   Maybe the YPG are different from other kurds in this way. They do have a track record of terrorist actions AFAIK. But those will have been against a hostile entity's civilian population, not their own nationals. – Turkey on the other hand is an IS sympathizer, as double-tongued as the USA.
