  1. I am changed by this powerful video. Saddened by the loss of so many beautiful souls and such wonderful cities.

The earth is never predictable. An earthquake, volcano, flood, fire, tsunami or other disaster can easily destroy thousands of lives. Nowhere is safe from disaster.

We must live our lives with the realization that any day may be our last. Not just our lives, but the entire planet. All of humanity.

Give thanks for what you have. Celebrate your life. Do the things you want to do before it is too late. And most of all, love those around you. We may be healthy and happy today, but as you have seen, that can quickly change.

  2. we look at this and wonder why would this happen to anyone?..but have you ever thought of how they were living their lives in Rebellion to the true God…the Idolatry they kept on pursuing there….we cannot judge people as innocent …because no on is…the Wages sin pays is death..and we have all sinned. From the time you came out your mothers womb…even when you were in her…accept the Sacrifice of our King Yashuah (Jesus) and turn from your evil ways..Yahuwah (God) is King.

  3. Excellent documentary! The best I have seen on this catastrophy! I remember exactly where I was when it happened and watching the TV with tears in my eyes. This makes you realise how small we are. We have to take care of our earth. She is our mother, to all of us!

  4. A LOT of people simply were not expecting the tsunami to be this bad, or come in in the way it did. Hollywood always shows a giant cresting wave breaking upon some hapless shoreline, but this what a tsunami really is like – a giant high tide that doesn't. stop. coming. And the longer it goes, the more debris it gathers, the stronger the blow when it hits other structures. Nobody caught in it has a chance of survival save a few miracles – if you don't drown immediately you are quickly battered to death by debris.

To give an idea of just how powerful the tsunami was, it made it all the way across the Pacific and hit California. By then, it was 1-2 feet high. That doesn't sound like much, but it absolutely shredded several harbors when it came in, reduced the small boats in them to twisted debris. And that was an <1 meter tsunami.

What hit the Japanese was much, much more powerful. Terrible thing to watch. There are few forces in nature greater – or deadlier – than large volumes of water on the move. And tsunami are especially lethal, because they can and do sneak up on you. They don't look especially threatening rolling in… until your entire city abruptly is being turned into a pile of debris right before your eyes.

  5. The number of people who are just standing around when they hear "tsunami, evacuate!" or walk really slowly is bizare. I would be sprinting down the street, throwing other people behind me and shouting "its a fucking, cunting tsunami! Get out of here!"

  6. Every generation has such arrogance and idiocy to think they can tame nature or that nature isn't as powerful as it is. it pisses me off. how stupid do you have to be to think a tsunami isn't something worth running from and that its ok to just stand and watch it coming.

  7. 19:07 That volunteer fireman did not LET anyone die……….. My God it's heartbreaking to think that he feels that way today….. God bless him, and help him through life carrying such a soul destroying burden.

  8. I had goosebumps the entire time while I watched. What an incredible documentation of the desaster. Im just simply moved how strong the force of nature can be. Its undescribable what destruction the cities went through.

God bless the lost ones that didnt survive and may the families live on someday. I hope people that lost their houses found a new place.

Its just sad how a disaster like this is so forgotten in the western area. No one talked about it after some weeks like it didnt happen at all.

Thank you for the good work!
