This whole story is stupid. The guy being detained is a belligerent moron and the cop is another moron, too, for worrying about a guy eating a sandwich. Here is the problem though, in CA, you can be a pothead, shit on the streets, do all kinds of illegal activities but drinking using a straw and eating a sandwich will get you arrested
This is about white men needing jobs. The U. S. Criminal Justice system provides jobs to white men and they need criminals to support the system that provides their livelihoods. The problem is white men need to be constructive in their decisions to creat public sector jobs for themselves. I kinda agree, with the no eating on public transit. I live in Toronto, and there are people eating noodles, peanuts, drinking alcohol …. even feeding their dog!! Toronto transit by 7:00 p.m is a disaster with lettuce, beer cans, cups, food on the seats. There are rats & roaches everywhere in the subway system.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in quit awhile. I could see a cop stopping people from doing this if there were a lot of people doing it and leaving a mess, but this is one guy and it looked like he was about finished. In the meantime there's a drunk running around some where that they haven't looked into that may be causing trouble.
