1. I am sure it must be an amazing feeling, I have been tempted through out my life to try. My friend and nieghbour was just killed in a jump one month ago, he was highly experienced with upwards of 4000 jumps. Fly safe to those that do, I now know I never will.

   …would love to have been a fly on the wall in the room when that was decided – amongst a group of persons who really think the know what they are doing.

9. The main rule pertaining to skydiving accidents is never ever jump out of a perfectly good aircraft. If the wing falls off or there is structural failure, I'm the first out the door. Short of that, I will trust the aerodynamics to see me back to terra firma. Why tempt fate. It is dangerous enough without doing so.

10. In the 1st video, the jumper had a problem with his riser. The riser is small, rectangular piece of material with eyelets in each corner. It descends toward the jumper and separates the shroud lines as the chute fills with air. The goal is to have the riser complete the decent to the point where all shroud lines are cleanly divided, allowing the chute to fully open. If the lines tangle, the riser can get stuck, and chute won't fully open. This results in too much speed…as seen in the video.

    The jumper's first job is make sure that riser comes all the way down, and the shroud lines are cleanly divided. It requires your attention and effort on EVERY jump.

11. My God! I've never seen anything like that,..actually seeing people loosing their life's , that pilot that yells as he realizes after explosion he's done. Terrifying! I'm glad the pilots didn't feel anything. If they didn't pass out on the way down they'd pass instantly , no pain or suffering . Heart breaking!! The end jolly happy music playing during the guy falling to his death felt innapropriate but wow , this was crazy! Where was it? They're all American but I don't rmemeber hearing about two skydiving planes coliding with deaths .

12. I love hearing about the Skydivers that have chutes that don't open. Trouble is, they never seem to be wearing Go-Pro's when they encounter their demise. Because there would be someone on here who would upload it. And there would be nothing more satisfying than seeing some moron screaming as they reached Terminal Velocity and hit the ground at 100mph…???

14. The last one — That's what scares Me. Once You go into A Spin You Most Likely Screwed. But, I always wondered if they had a Pull Cord for Your Suit To Pop Out The Winged Suit or a Bubble, something to stabilize You.

17. btw…the guy who hit the trailer..I recall his story… had multiple broken bones-ribs collar bone etc, torn shoulder ligaments…mostly all left side of body. Spent a few weeks in hospital followed by a few months of physical therapy. went back to sky diving. very lucky man

19. 1 MAIN RULE WHEN NAVIGATING ANYTHING…..when impact is presenting….you look to where you want to go…not where you are already going. Especially taught in Motorcycle Riding…this will save you every time…some one pulls out in front of you…you do not look at that vehicle you look to where you need to go…body follows eyes. 1st Video….no doubt what he was doing..prob'ly even thought about landing in the back of the trailer to show off & decided last minute that's not such a good idea. 2 planes colliding…what are the odds. Again…eyes determine direction

22. First vid: The guy deserved to die, the decision to go so close to the truck and his 'friend' means he would have killed himself sooner or later. Extremely stupid people shouldn't be allowed to fall from the sky, they are a hazard.

37. I did a tandem skydive for charity once, halfway down the bloke I was strapped to asked me how long I'd been an instructor!

46. The last one of the video spinning, freeze frames at 8:39, 8:40, 8:41. The plane he jumped out of was matching there dive, pilot lost sight of the last divers to exit the plane and struck the cameraman as he was falling. He was killed on impact with the plane, his lifeless body was what was spinning to the ground.
