Oscar®-nominated William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum star in this fiercely engaging and fearlessly twisted series. Chicagoan Frank Gallagher is the proud single dad of six smart, industrious, independent kids, who without him would be…perhaps better off. When Frank’s not at the bar spending what little money they have, he’s passed out on the floor. But the kids have found ways to grow up in spite of him. They may not be like any family you know, but they make no apologies for being exactly who they are.

  1. The obvious thing to take away from this scene (aside from Bianca being a great character) is "Every day is an opportunity that you don't get back, so don't blow it working."
I'm not Frank, I can't be so opportunistic and, well, "shameless". But, I've never agreed with anything more. No one likes work. It's bullshit, unless you have a true passion for something. And even then, you aren't always given the tools or opportunities to pursue what you love. People can be crushed by circumstance. Life is a gift, that you're only given once. Working for almost all of the day, nearly every day, just to be able to breathe when you're old, to me doesn't make sense. We've built a social structure around it to justify it, but really, it's all a facade. We're chained to this damned economic and governmental hierarchy in order to survive. I''m not saying work and bettering yourself is bad, but for it to take up most of your life/energy, like most "functional" citizens, is the biggest waste a human being is capable of. You're human. Don't commit that liberty to something you couldn't give a fuck about. Especially when you're someone like Bianca. Work your way through all your life then suddenly having it not matter at all? Could happen to anyone at anytime. I feel it should never matter. Life is life and everyone that really has goodness in their heart of hearts deserves to spend it as they wish.

  2. Spoiler

I'm sad Frank actually met someone he liked and actually cared about. He actually wanted to show her that hey even if you're dying you don't have to be alone sad in pain . But of course it spiraled into a mess and she didn't get it to the point where Frank called her family and she ditched them to go to Costa Rica and Frank had to go with her so she didn't do anything stupid and she couldn't take it once the lesson was learned and swims to her death leaving frank a mess when all he wanted was to make her happy when she was in a shitty situation.

  3. SPOILER ALERT

This characters ark is so beautiful and so sad, what rank and bianca have is really emotional and didnt just boil over to money but a weird form that love takes, its anreal shame tgis character has to die. frank does his best to keep her happy but in the end she couldn't take it, her charcters death was truly heartbreaking to me.

  4. I wanna live like that and I truly hope that one day I will, "living life to the fullest", but working your ass off for your entire life, having a career FUCK NO.

  5. Hope this storyline doesn't go where I think it is going. Hopefully she won't "do" the ridiculously absurd mistake that is Frank.
