14. Why do they rescue some dogs in one day ( with force) but take weeks to capture this puppy? – by their own admission- that could basically die or have something horrible happen to it while its by itself. Makes no sense

21. these people mishandled the capture horribly, traumatized him and whoever had to work on de-spicing the puppy had a ton of extra work for it.

23. Omg, Joe was so amazing with that puppy. That was so sweet how he wanted to make sure she was calm before putting her into the cage.

24. Poor thing. I like how the guy tried to calm the puppy after they caught him but before they dropped him into the crate. You wouldn't want him to carry that intense fear of being caught over to the crate. It's the little things that can make a big difference. I'm glad they caught him. Hopefully, he's young enough that he will be able to overcome what he's been through and be a great little dog for someone.

28. That's not a pit bull puppy, it's a young purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They are very sensitive dogs, he must have been terrified.

    I absolutely love and support everything you do. Tia once said "there are dog lovers and there are dog people ".
    My family are dog people. We don't have the shelter or able to rescue as much as Villa Lobos. Since the age of 3 I've never had anything but rescues. Our max is 4 at a time. We always had cats that made it to us in someway.
    So much love, respect and gifts you and your family are!

    these sweet animals have no one else to look out for them. dogs are supposed to be with people — they evolved alongside us for tens of thousands of years. they can recognize human emotions and body language. they're the only animal that understands pointing. any other animal look at the tip of your finger, and don't understand the abstract context of what the body language of pointing is meant to convey. humans and dogs are the only creatures on earth that have a left-facing gaze from the minute their eyes first open. because humans display emotions more accurately on the right side of their faces, and when standing face-to-face, a left-facing gaze sees the right side of the face

    dogs belong with us, and we belong with them. seeing them being neglected so much hurts my heart. you are angels for saving them
