Spread The Viralist

Where are the limits of human technology? And can we somehow avoid them? This is where quantum computers become very interesting.

  1. nope, still breaks my brain. I already understood that computers were a bunch of on or off electrical switches, logic gates and all that. I even know how to do some logic math, but Qubits destroy my understanding of physical technology…. but maybe i understand now that this is only possible due to how small they are?

  2. Thank you, it made perfect sense. It is just a computer working on the quantum scale. I personally want to see MEMS systems making use of actual 'microcontrollers' first before I put my money on Quantum. But thank you regardless.

  4. But how close are we to the quantum limits? Companies are still spending billions to develop next gen lithography machines. It would seem that the wavelength in lithography projectors is, for now, the limiting factor for the extension of Moore’s law.
