What has happened to us? Despite the most advanced medical technology in the world, we are sicker than ever by nearly every measure.

Two out of every three of us are overweight. Cases of diabetes are exploding, especially amongst our younger population. About half of us are taking at least one prescription drug. Major medical operations have become routine, helping to drive health care costs to astronomical levels. Heart disease, cancer and stroke are the country’s three leading causes of death, even though billions are spent each year to “battle” these very conditions. Millions suffer from a host of other degenerative diseases.

Could it be there’s a single solution to all of these problems? A solution so comprehensive but so utterly straightforward, that it’s mind-boggling that more of us haven’t taken it seriously?

FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called “diseases of affluence” that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering yet under-appreciated researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.

  1. Been vegan for two years and have seen some amazing results on top of doing it for the animals. Now I'm hoping to not only be vegan but aim for a mostly WFPB diet?

  2. At the end of the video there is a student of the doctors, and there is a picture of Indian yoga. Please, do not do yoga, it is dangerous, it is not just exercise, it is calling demons inside of your soul. Become an Orthodox Christian. We have a lot fasting times during the year when animal product are not allowed, but fish is often allowed. You can became a holy person by keep fasting, not just healthier.
If you have more questions white me. I wish everyone to reach the Kindom of God, but not just good cholesterol!

  3. very educational and motivating movie to change to become vegan…wow the amount or research and studies that prove that being vegan is the healthiest choice for the human race. I'm a vegan and i feel very lucky to have come across this movie and be informed. Thank You God.

  4. Stupid propaganda and lies. People are retarded if they believe this stupid shit. Really? Asians never had "Western" diets of milk, dairy and meat products? Hahahahaha

  5. I have diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis in my knees, and PCOS. All of this because I am morbidly obese. I also have bipolar 2 and struggle to get out of bed every morning. I'm miserable and yet still, still, cannot seem to change my diet. Just the thought of having two cook a meal instead of eating a quick sandwich makes me feel exhausted and depressed. It seems like this daunting uphill task. I don't even know how to start. It's like I'm at the bottom of a huge pit and I know I'm going to die if I don't find a way to climb out of it. And yet I'm paralyzed as to how to even start because it seems like such an impossible climb. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I feel something in my head is not right when it comes to food.I

  6. Vega or vegetarian is not the natural way of eating. Why? Just think for one moment…Where in the vegetarian world do you get vitamin B12? Please don't say milk. Not everyone can drink milk.
I'm on the paleo way of eating. It's the way we humans evolved. We didn't evolve eating vegetables.
If you want to cut down on heart disease and about 95% of other sickness, try cutting out sugar, vegetable oils, grains, and dairy.

  7. Interesting documentary, however, the comparisons were only between the worst fast foods and whole food plant based… I would have liked to see some research that compared the pasture raised, healthy animal food products consumed at small amounts. This film did not convince me a 100%. Also, there was nothing about lectin in the grains & whole foods in this diet (The Plant Paradox).
