Animal Planet and The Dodo are teaming up for season two of Dodo Heroes which premiered June 1st. The show features inspiring stories about animals in need and the humans who help them. One feature is Roman McConn – a seven-year-old boy who’s rescued over 1,000 dogs from high-kill shelters. We talked to him about the importance of dogs.

I cryed from start to finish watching Dodo heros. Romans determination to finding homes for all these dogs. Roman is an old soul with a heart of gold. God bless Roman and his loving mom.
