Hiker Taking Photos is Killed by Grizzly Bear.

Hiker Taking Photos is Killed by Grizzly Bear.
Spread The Viralist

Sadly, a hiker was killed by a Grizzly Bear at Denali National Park in Alaska. It is the parks first death by bear since officially becoming a safe haven for wildlife in 1917. The bear had to be put down for public safety since it now was a man eater.
Rangers found the tourist camera and determined he spent over 8 minutes near the bear at a range of 50 yards. Park rules at Denali ask you to be 300 yards to 1/4 mile away from bears and at Yellowstone they state 100 yards. Ask anyone who visits or works at these parks and they will tell you they see people brake those rules daily for bear, moose, elk and other wildlife. Do people think they can out run a 30mph charging bear? Do they think they will get that perfect picture, not knowing the footage they watch on nature shows are taken with huge lenses, and sometimes even staged with captive animals?
Please enjoy nature, but be careful out there. For yourself, for the wildlife, and for everyone else that plans on visiting these amazing areas.
Thanks.

Thanks for watching! Your views help wildlife.
*Brian’s Art for Animals “SAFARI” series provides you an honest view of what you might see while on safari. Unlike productions on major channels/networks that may use weeks, months, and sometimes years of footage to paint a picture of a safari drive or viewing wildlife, on my series what you see is exactly what I saw on that particular day. I do this to give you a realistic view of going on safari to various locations around our planet.

  1. Thanks for watching this video, and please be safe out there. A man was killed by an injured wild sloth bear while trying to take a selfie with it, along with recent deaths by elephant and hippo in Africa again with people getting too close. As for this original story, a good article on it is found here:.https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/article/denali-park-hikers-camera-offers-clues-bear-attack/2012/08/27/  Give the wild animals they space they need. Please.

  2. Never hike without a rifle that’s what my grandfather always told me because one time he was charged in Alaska in 1970 by a grizzly and he had to kill it with a 30-06 …

  3. I only feel bad for the bear. That asshole messed with wildlife and got what was coming. His interference killed that bear.

And before all the "you don't feel bad that a man is dead?" bullshit comes, no. I don't. Dipshit went against everything taught in bear and wildlife safety. He won his Darwin award.

  4. Natural Selection at its best, the dumbest, the weakest, the ones without common human sense and respect for their lives CHECK OUT early…Me? I LOVE wildlife but I stay thousands of miles away from BEARS….Love every second of my life and I have to prove nothing to no one…

  5. Met up with brown bears almost touching distance. Not my intention, they just came out of the trees, two of them, did not even look at me ! Intent on raiding bins I think. Glad they were not grizzlies. Get the feeling they are far more aggressive. Did I feel scared ? No, it all happened too quickly for that. I was going east west, they north south , Yellowstone path. Whistler encounter, mom and baby bear, about thirty foot away on the edge of the piste. I had skis. I,m probably faster, but no need to flee. They were also indifferent to me. Third time is the charm they say, so no more North America, I will try more of wild china instead. Where I can get some thrills on planks hanging off a cliff with a hundred metre fall waiting for the rope to rot enough, but perfectly clear of bears ! Or maybe just of waste bins and warning notices ! I have been so lucky with rare animal sightings, travelling alone and moving without noise or fear laden scent because I always think I will not be lucky enough to see anything and just enjoy the scenery ? Then out of nowhere some big beast in sight ! All my trips have been long ones, at least 5 weeks. So I am not in tourist mode, never rushing. Just shaking off the city and breathing in the peace of vast spaces with no facilities or other people. I had my quota maybe ? With poisonous snakes included, and dive bombing skewers! Packs of coyotes brushing my calves as they shot past me ! The trick is, travel alone and without that attention seeking camera ! Too much hassle. Anyway it’s hard to click a shot on a bicycle or clinging to a cliff ! Oh and never use a guide ! Well not a two legged one. Read up, memorise, take everything you need with supplies included , get up with the sun, rest in the heat. That’s what wild life does ! So maybe it’s not luck. Letting it happen rather than trying to make it happen ?

  6. when  I was 17 I had a pinto hatchback and my girl friend had horses. I wanted a horse too. so I thought I would lasso a moose and tie it to the bumper of my car and bring it to my girl friend house and let it go with the horses. it was rut time. I was driving over to her house one late afternoon and I saw a bull moose out in a field. I pulled over and got out and opened the hatch to get the rope out so I could lasso him. like I said, it was during the rut. he was about 300 yards out and started to charge. I jumped right in my car and pulled out just ahead of a 18 wheeler truck. no issue with the truck, I had plenty of time there, but I never tried to lasso a moose again!

  7. The wilderness is now owned by the bears and government biologists. Everyone else is on their menu. It's time to de list the grizzly and begin thinning them out of Yellowstone and surrounding areas.

  8. So a bear has been put down because an idiot decided to take a selfie with it.

Just don't take selfies with wild animals. Leave it alone.
