TEHRAN’S MOST IMPORTANT FOOD

1. SEYED MEHDI: Aash Reshteh + Halim

AASH RESHTEH: Boil lentils and add in mixed herbs (parsley, dill, leeks, tarragon, cilantro). Allow it to cook for 20 minutes. Add in chickpeas, kidney beans, pepper and salt. In a separate pan, add turmeric to oil and then add fried onion and allow it to brown before adding to the main pot. Add wheat noodles (reshteh) and allow it to cook for another 20 minutes. Serve with fried onion, fried mint and sour yogurt on top.

HALIM: Boil wheat for five hours. In a separate pot, boil lamb chunks as well. Mix both boiled ingredients together and build congealed texture. Eat for breakfast with salt, sugar, cinnamon, olive oil, coconut oil and drizzled butter

?ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.

I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

  1. Yess I was waiting for u to check iran for months now:)) Check my city Isfahan as well there's a lot to be seen there as well. I recently came back if I was there I would have taken you around:)

  2. Watching these videos about Iran's people and their cuisine makes me realize that we (the U.S.) need to open up more dialogue with these awesome and friendly people – despite the geo-political challenges that divide us at present.

  3. As an Indian… I have always been met with the most amazing people in Iran… visited Tehran & Isfahan last year.. and that trip was memorable not just because of the similarity I found between India & Iran.. but also the incredible behavior & hospitality of the Iranains.. they are proud of their ancient culture & that is very good to see

  4. All the staff working there are drug addict and what they offer is nothing but shitty food this forigner asshole tourist went to the worse ash maker in the city totaly unhealthy food i was their costumer before just ask those neighbor shops and they will tell you that they never eat this shop's food who the hell was that mother fucker told and guide this stupid head bander to try this dirty place food fuck em all

  5. Sir u really need to visit our North East India .,……n if u really do visit please please please do let me know please…….M Ur big big n biggest fan ……n also if u meet me den I have a lots n lots n lots of questions.for dat I really wanna ask ?????????

  6. Love how u showcase the people and their food it's true people make food and art and culture government's are those who make war which then gives the people of that country with bad name just glad we got too see the beautiful culture thank u Sonny???❤??

  7. Nasty politicians and the so called 'elites' separates humankind with fear. Because they know very well that if all the people of the world come together, there will be 'PEACE'. Nothing but peace. So, they make boarders, barriers and walls. And they made travelling between countries so difficult. Regular people does not want war. They don't want their life's earnings to be lost, they don't want their loved ones taken away from them. All they ever really need is living their life in peace and harmony. Oh how so much I wish for such a world.. may be one day that wish will come true.
