9. Even whilst suffering a migraine, these little cuties had me in hysterics! This is actually great socialization for all dogs and let them learn for themselves without forcing things on them that they're not interested in. As a dog trainer I just have to mention a couple of things to be careful of. Never give a small puppy ice, it can have some 'extremely bad effects' that cannot go reversed. A few licks is okay but never let them swallow anything frozen. In another part of the clip it looked like a pup was being given chocolate to eat, this may have been Carob but never give a dog of any age chocolate, just keep it for yourself. Chocolate can have an effect on their heart that can even cause heart attack. Last one, not a good idea to have a pup jumping about trying to bite an electrical item that is still running. They can easily get a grip of the cord. A little information can never harm anyone. Well, as much as I'd love to watch more of these, it won't be tonight unfortunately. It's time for my head to rest. 42. I loooooove Retriever since I am a child. I dreamt I will have one too and his name is Lancelot ??? I'm having a dog now since 10 years but no Retriever… For us it was more important to get a dog out of the shelter. And since July 2009 we have our crazy Daisy ??? She's a big girl mix of great Munsterlander, a german hunting breed, and a St. Bernard. The best decision we ever made. She is so thankful and her love is unconditional like ours too ???
