5 "Impossible" Things That Can Happen On Other Planets

Spread The Viralist

A lot of things happen on Earth, but there are still some things that just don’t ever happen here. But, that doesn’t mean that what’s impossible here is impossible everywhere else in the universe. Whether it’s clouds that rain rocks or glass, wind that’s 29 times faster than sound, having 2 shadows or even being able to fly in some places, this is a collection of some of the most ridiculous places that we know of so far in our strange universe.

This video was done in a collaboration with Second Thought, and you can check out his video here!

If you’re curious about flying on Titan and the research into that, I’ve attached a paper written by the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester dated October 22nd 2013 which goes into a lot more detail than I could afford. Here it is; https://physics.le.ac.uk/journals/index.php/pst/article/view/625/420

  1. What would happen if GJ1214-b (ocean planet) exploded? Would all the water freeze as it's sent out into space and become ice meteors? And what of Ice 7? Would Ice 7 be harder than a diamond or whatever the hardest material on our planet is btw? Welp, I suppose it's not like we can check since I doubt we have the sort of technology to explore something that deep and try to experiment on piercing the ice. I'm certain that there are frickin' ginormous, horrifying and excruciatingly nightmarish monsters in that ocean! Think I'd rather jump in the sun than face that.

  2. hmm… 10km per second

    Earths oceans ~11 km deep

Hmm the wind on that hot gas gaint could make it to the bottom of the pacific ocean in a 1.1 seconds.

  3. you do know that shadows are created not directly from the sun, but because there's no light behind you right? It wouldn't be possible to have 2 shadows. You would have no shadow or maybe a really small one if there were 2 suns. Why is noone talking about this I'm confused. Also sorry for late comment this video was made 2 years ago.
