Hurricane Katrina in 2005 was deadly, devastating, expensive, expansive and powerful. Katrina caused misery, and loss of homes and jobs that made it the most expensive hurricane to hit the United States in modern times. It was also one of the most-deadly hurricanes to ever strike the US. More than 1,800 people were killed.

  1. My Aunt and Uncke are frim St Bernard Parish. He originally is from Dela Croix, which was wiped off the map. Anyways, it took them about 7 years to get their house completed. They live about 60 feet from the Flood wall.
