Best American movie of 1999. The Limey, The Insider, The Matrix, Three Kings, and Fight Club were also great. Pity tinseltown threw all awards at American Beauty, Phil Collins and Michael Caine. That was Tom Cruise's Oscar to win.

I love Julianne but girl there were nay a tear in this entire movie every time she was crying. Watch the scene where she and Philip Seymour Hoffman are both crying. He shows how it’s done.
