Cairo, Egypt has an incredible selection of street food and ful medames is among the best options. Beans with Arabic bread is fast, nutritious and delicious!
When i was in Cairo, I managed to eat a lot of street food and there were so many different delicious things to eat. And not only is does the food taste good, it’s so cheap it’s nearly impossible to resist! While I enjoyed lots of dishes like falafel, sandwiches, hawawshy and starch filled kushari, it was the street side ful medames mashed fava beans that I enjoyed the most.
The next time you visit Cairo and need some great street food that’s tasty and filling don’t forget to try some ful medames!

Please dont come to egypt and dont eat the street food again, because the food not clean when they making it, it with poison your stomach.. Seriously they dont have a clean rule, they just want to make any simple rubbish food, and sell to anyone, the important for them is money, they just want money.. But not think about the clean..
that video was few days before the revolution in 2011 how did you deal with that ?
g-day mark the food in Egypt taste good but the hygiene is up the creek mate ,had three major diseases firs was typhoid in mid-late 1040`s there was no medication then second was hepatitis A, third one was tuberculosis at the age of 15, finally I left Egypt fore good to Australia never had any problem that way, by watching you I can taste the food without tasting its the way you describe and your facial expression tell us all anyway I wish you and your family the best of the best. cheers from Australia
