Early Stoppage in the SECOND round of a Championship Fight….that's why. ?♂️?♂️ Tank has amazing potential, but also has outstanding influence on his side. To actually believe all fights are ref'd fairly without bias is beyond idiotic. Then to justify an early stoppage with an unrelated and irrelevant outcome of past events is just calculated manipulation. His opponent worked his ass off just to get this moment in his career and have it stifled simply because he got rocked…. have we not seen PLENTY of fighters come back from worse than this and win?
All in all, another poor display of influence on the outcome of a fight. Tank is literally being strategically placed so as to generate more revenue in the long run. That is NOT what Boxing should be about.
Lastly, Gervonta is a beast, no doubting that….BUT claiming that he's ready to take on and defeat Loma is the epitome of ignorance. Maybe soon…maybe….but definitely not yet.
It really looked like Nunez had that fight. He got caught by a hard shot when he should have been protecting himself. I'd like to see a rematch.

I like davis but I think it was too early to stop the fight. 6-7th round and this happens then yes but not the 2nd round.

The fight wasn't stopped too early, Nunez was definitely out on his feet. Nunez brain was raddle and he couldn't even think to protect himself from the way his head was getting knocked around by power shots.
